this album was ticking along just fine, and then the colossal train wreck of "cop car" derailed the whole thing; the album never recovers

she lost me a long time ago, no matter her talents, when she stopped singing and started "performing", which is somewhere north of whispering and well within the realm of spoken-word or whatever that thing is she is doing now

solid, but the best tracks are all at the end of the album, especially "All You Children"

when they play "hardcore punk" (according to the genres listed with the album), they're at their very best, but then there are the times they default back to "noise pop" and it all falls apart
