This takes me back to the late 80s trading underground thrash metal CDs with my buddies after school. Although this has modern charm to it. Years later Slayer and Metallica rip-offs are still everywhere, but we finally get something fresh with Selfish Genocide. I recently purchased Brender's album 'I Am Short Enough To Walk Under A Turnstile' and I was left feeling really disappointed. The album seemed to be a collection of randomly picked and poorly mixed tracks, which left the overall listening experience feeling lacking. I think the album's incohesive nature further takes away from the individual tracks, making it feel like an unfinished product.
