I just love the way this album sounds. It’s a natural continuation of his other projects, and he just knows what works for him and what makes him unique in the rap world. Loved Robbery. Love Doechii
The problem with this record is that it’s trying to be interesting, but god it’s the prime example of everyone’s flaws. Selena is boring and Benny is trying too hard. Like Bluest Flame.
I liked the songwriting, but his voice just really takes me out of it. Liked Lost or Stolen.
Idk some of this comes across corny, but it’s fine otherwise. Like the lady vanishes
Really enjoyed the mix of sounds and vibes on this record. Loved Lemon Pepper Steppers.
This sounds bad, but I’m always surprised by how much I actually like Zach Bryan’s music. I always expect him to come off like soulless Morgan Wallen, but he’s far more charming than I give him credit for. Wallen is like the horrible older brother that casts a putrid shadow over little brother Bryan, who legitimately has something to say. Little too long, though. Loved Anyways.
Really enjoyed the energy of these songs. I love her voice, it’s so rich. Like with all K-pop albums, I wish it was longer. Loved cocktail dress.
T&A is a standout, but it suffers from being very millennial.
God, I always do feel bad about not liking Lucy Dacus, but I really feel that on this record she both overwrites and under sings. Everything is this pleasant sounding indie rock sound that she sings exactly the same the whole time. Night Shift is a great song because it has a build, and nothing on this record feels like it builds to anything. Liked Come Out.
Personally, I couldn’t help but listen to every word he said, and sometimes that wasn’t to his benefit. I have never listened to The Big Day, so I have no idea what he’s bounced back from, but I think it was pretty solid overall. Liked Tree.
This album felt like something she personally needed to make, but I don’t think it’s for mass consumption. The performed confidence comes off very insecure, and it just really isn’t the stuff that she’s good at. She won that legal case, so I hope she can get back on her feet and make some actually good music again. Liked GOTCHO BITCH.
LET HER SINGGGGG. Give her some real wailers like confident or Cool for the Summer. I do think it’s pretty solid, but the brainrot cunt sound is incoming and I’m getting tired of it. Like Here All Night.
Fav of 2022. That piano motif instantly makes me cry when I hear it. It did then and it still does now. Love Futura Free.
Fav album of 2022. Still so good. Makes me sad everyday that they haven’t released more stuff together. Tipsy is an all time classic.
Really enjoyed this album. Thought he rapped with a lot of confidence, and always tried to switch it up to make it interesting. Excited to see what he makes in the future. Favourite song was probably the title track.
Fav album of 2022. Loved the theatre kid vibe with elevated melodies. So many songs still slap. Love Last Night.
Has some more sauce than other psychedelic rock albums. Feels like weed more than shrooms.
Loved Salsa Verde.
I have never seriously listened to dubstep before, and this was a really good introduction. His humour is painfully millennial though. Loved SPITFIRE.
