Production was good on every track lyricism and vocals are hit or miss and I am glad to finally hear a The Weeknd album that isn’t so lustful and more toward emotional connection with the music. I’m gonna rate this an 83. There’s still some stuff I just don’t like about The Weeknd’s performances and some of that stuff is personal just insecurities that can be kinda jarring in this album.
Incredible track list with dugout being the worst track and sinking ship being my favorite. This brings out incredible emotional richness with a great vocalist. Especially in songs like watch your mouth you can hear the panic and constant checking of his exs insta and socials that really shows that he is being honest with his lyrics this is a must listen if you’re into Midwest emo. Incredible work I can’t recommend enough.
Incredibly emotional that really hit me hard but the outro track is long and boring holding it down.
Some good moments but the instrumental drowns out the vocals but the emotional connection is stronger when you have to focus to hear the lyrics. Rest in peace wifiskeleton you will be missed.
