DJ Mykael V - BODEGA 2!
86

DJ Mykael V did not hold back with the sequel to Bodega. Of course, I feel like Bodega 1 was a bit more consistent, but Bodega 2 had a lot of consistency and a couple of highs. Barely any lows. A nice good ol' boom bap LP. Some artists however, were a bit lackluster on their respective tracks.
Best: TR!BE ON THE MOVE / SCARED 2 DEATH / APOCALYPSE
Worst: JOE PESCI

Jon Keith - Olympus
80

Still a unique display of work and emotion. Not his best work, but still a good LP.

Andy Mineo - GET THE TABLES
85

Solid beats, solid verses. Can't wait for the LP!

Lecrae - Church Clothes 4
91

This is arguably Lecrae's best work. Replayable as heck. Call me crazy, but I see this LP as the Christian version of The Fall Off by J.Cole.

Caleb Gordon - Christmas In Eden
72

Came in with low expectations. It was actually not bad at all.
Favorite song: Christmas Day
Worst song: WE FYE!

Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly
96

Yeah, kenny did his thing here.
Favorite song: U

Jinsang - Transitions
78

Not a bad LP. Didn't come in with high or low expectations. Just came in looking for good music.
Best Track: Climbing
Worst Track: Misunderstood

Kendrick Lamar - good kid, m.A.A.d city
90

This album was a very entertaining album to listen to. I came in with high expectations, and those expectations were met. Every song encapsulates a life in Compton, audibly immersing you into the story. Deff will listen again. Hot takes: Im not a big fan of swimming pools or BDKMV which is highly rated, but Real is one of my favorite songs, which is the lowest rated. Unusual how subjective music is, right? Good kid is the best song in my opinion.
