I didn't fancy this the first lazy listening but it has grown every time I heard it. A few of the songs are truly amazing, and I love hearing traces of so many genres. Best tracks: 'Tears of blue and gold' and 'Ex-con'.

My first Taylor Swift album. To me it is like a combined wonderful and horrible experience, and in the end I am both impressed and frustrated. I don't understand the haters and don't understand the fans, or in a way I understand both. I enjoy most of the lyrics and think there are a lot of great songs here, but the arrangements and production is basically lifeless. 76, is a good album, but could be much more. This is a special album. The longer songs with long instrumental parts are all fantastic, but the other songs are a bit weaker. That and top notch Young lyrics is missing to make this one of his best. But still: wow!

Bruce Springsteen - Wrecking Ball

Parts of this album is absolutely brilliant and I like to hear him angry. But the album does not quite last the distance to be a first class Boss-creation. Among other things I dont think 'Land of hope and dreams' are as good in here as it is in a packed arena. Still this is a collection that deserves it's place in the Springsteen tale.

I have no idea where the critics find the full pointers here. I mean, I love the album; lovely, simple music and lyrics with nuances that is exactly why he got the Noble prize. But, isn't a lot of the lyrics to much jamb in their rhytm and leaving a small hint of boredom compared to his best works? Dylan has made a lot of albums worse than this, but also quite a few better ones.
