The film's great, the music's catchy, and the vocals keep me coming back.
A little messy or awkward sounding at times, but the bangers are there and it's a super fun listen overall.
Kinda hard to properly express what I think of CHROMAKOPIA. Some great songs on here like St. Chroma, Sticky, Like Him, and Balloon. But honestly there's quite a few songs on here that I don't really find myself going back to very often despite finding them pretty good.
Probably the easiest Kendrick album to get into imo. Songs like squabble up and tv off have become kinda annoying to listen to, but there's still a lot that I really enjoy. Reincarnated, heart pt. 6 and gloria are still phenomenal
Kendrick's opening adlibs on MOJO JOJO have been ingrained in my head for weeks and is probably the most memorable thing from the album imo.
Listening to this in full does tend to be a little overwhelming for me ngl. Even so, there are a lot of bangers on here that I find incredibly catchy and love the production of. Dreamflasher and TURN UP OR DIE is an incredible back to back, definitely my favourites alongside JRJRJR.
Absolutely love the production on this album. The attention to detail is incredible, from the beats, to the vocals and the transitions, it's all phenomenal. I will say that the writing comes off a little corny at times, but not to the point of affecting my enjoyment of the music.
Another collection of songs that I don't mind honestly, but at some point it does feel like I'm listening to the same thing over and over.
I quite enjoy YOASOBI's music and I like this album overall, but I felt that a lot of the songs tend to overlap one another and become harder to differentiate after not listening for some time. That being said, I do listen to this album in full every so often and I think each song still holds up nicely.
Vultures 1 was already pretty forgettable when it came out, but at the time I felt there were some alright songs on it. However just a few months out from the album's release and even those songs became just as unappealing as the rest of the tracklist and I frankly have no interest in revisiting this album in the future. Insane to see an album age this badly this quickly
Nurture has grown on me so much since I first listened to it, and each song speaks to me on a deep personal level in some way. Absolutely beautiful album.
