Drake - ICEMAN
81

The ICEMAN is finally here and he delivered. This album is definitely the return of the 6 god. This project from drake covers so many different arena's of his artistry that have been missing or made the parts that were doing good even better. The production goes back to older Drake production, especially on the Make Them tracks. And Drake is really rapping his ass off and tacking a bunch of shots at the opps from the beef(which I feel he is relying on a bit too much for good bars and ... read more

Drake - MAID OF HONOUR
47

Drake's fetish album. One of the worst thing associated with his name, disrespectful 🤦... but also could just not be in the right vibe for this kind of album🤷.

Drake - HABIBTI
49

The two B's in the title HABIBITI actually stand for B sides on top of B sides. I don't know why Drake released this especially because he doesn't even sound interested or involved in these songs. Most forgettable tracks ever. Drake take this one back, we don't need these R&B songs, since we just got $$$4U only a year ago.

Kanye West - Donda
76

Donda is a album that has always pretty good to me but just has too much filler. Let's start with the production, it's great and quite different from any other Kanye album. Having a good mix of soulful and gospel influences like Jesus Is King but not diving fully into it like that album did. Instead the gospel is blended well with more trap and drill style of music. The features are solid overall some have better performances then others but most except for the pt.2 features are good. ... read more

Kanye West - Yeezus
75

This might be the most overrated Kanye album for me. Now I still think it's solid and definitely ahead of its time by like 10 years. But the lows are on the lower side of Ye's discography for me. It has a few great songs that definitely warrant a listen though. The production is explosive and ecstatic at most times but knows how to build that up and be slower and less aggressive. The lyrics are well... not its strong suit but I guess work for the situation. Overall I enjoy Yeezus for ... read more

Kanye West - JESUS IS KING
69

This is a sorta mediocre album with some tracks I like and good spiritual ideas, they just weren’t executed the in the best way. Kanye really should’ve dived more into the gospel choir sound instead of just dipping a toe into it. Wish Kanye made this project more like the Sunday service version of father stretch my hands and like the more soulful sounds of Donda. But overall not bad just not that good in it’s field of music and not very high in Kanye’s catalogue either.

Kanye West - BULLY
78

I can’t believe this album is actually here.. I followed the entire rollout through all the highs and lows😉(I could cry 😭). The production on BULLY is it’s strongest quality it has the old Kanye sample songs as well as some Yeezus era sounds, and some new sounds of post apocalyptic vibes which the whole album gives off. The features are the god André Troutman and then Peso Pluma and Don Toliver who do decent jobs on their songs. The biggest complaint for me is the ... read more

Yeat - ADL
73

The production on this album was pretty good. This was an interesting listen as Yeat tapped into a few different vibes with his classic rapping style but also did some more singing and layered vocals which I would say panned out well. The features are solid on this thing. And I love that Yeat is slowly stepping out of his comfort zone and doing different kind of songs. The lyrics are the next thing I want to see change and improve. This definitely the right direction he should be going in and ... read more

Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
83

At first I didn’t love this album as much as everyone else, but the more I listen some of the songs I started to enjoy it a lot more then when I just heard the album front to back. The mood and vibe this album gives you is luxurious and POWERful. The features range from decent to some of the greatest. It comes together to tells its story and serve as a good album.

Playboi Carti - MUSIC
75

I was so hyped when this album came out as I was addicted to the Carti I Am Music hype cycle. And I should’ve expected less coming into the album as I’m don’t the biggest fan of Carti in general. But he did experiment a lot on this album with its 30 TRACKS! Which is another reason this album is just kinda ok to solid as it has way to many tracks a lot of unnecessary ones. Has its bangers has some stinkers just a decent album with a lot of different voices.

Â¥$ - VULTURES 2
64

Alright let me be honest I don’t hate this album and it isn’t the piece of shit everyone says it is. With that being said it is still the most mediocre album I’ve ever listened to. It has some stand out tracks like Vultures 1 had but it being unfinished and totally unfocused except for Kanye keep comparing having sex to food. Just so mediocre and Kanye’s worst REAL album…Ty Dolla $ign was carrying most of the project tho.

The Weeknd - After Hours
80

I find this album a bit overrated. A lot of people say it’s The Weeknd’s best album but I don’t see it. The 80s heavy synth production is very nice and definitely adds a good atmosphere. But unfortunately the biggest tracks on this album are some of the more just decent songs(except After Hours). A good amount of the songs just don’t do it for me, but some are still really good. It kicks off the story of this trilogy nicely. Overall it’s a good album just not his ... read more

The Weeknd - Dawn FM
82

I enjoy Dawn FM and yet I feel so many people kinda hate on it. It has great production similar to After Hours but more chill and “magical”, which I prefer over After Hours synth and more upbeat dark pop. The story is a lot more prominent here with all the Jim Carey interludes but I enjoy those overall. The features bring a bit to this listen but not anything that special. I probably could be quite a bit shorter in tracks. Overall good album that is underrated in Weeknd’s ... read more

The Weeknd - Hurry Up Tomorrow
85

This albums atmosphere and transitions are fire 🔥. The production like other Weeknd albums is god tier. The lyrics on this one are good and the features add a lot to that already great atmosphere. Unfortunately it’s a bit too long and some songs are kinda boring to me but regardless it’s one of the best album experiences I’ve had ever. Great conclusion to the trilogy and great end to The Weeknd character.

KIDS SEE GHOSTS - KIDS SEE GHOSTS
79

Kanye and Kid Cudi are both giving great performances here that both make you want to spaz out and ascend to heaven. The album has only 2 misses and they’re not even that strong misses. This album grows on me every time I hear one of the tracks and I feel like that is going to keep happening as the days, weeks, months, and years go on. They both complement each other very well and the features aren’t anything too special but decent.

J. Cole - The Fall-Off
84

When I dived into this album it was my first full J Cole album I listened to which I know if a weird place to start but that’s how it happened. I really enjoyed a lot of the songs and obviously top notch lyricism. The themes and messages here felt genuine and good. The features weren’t anything too special to me but that wasn’t a big problem. The length of 24 songs was too long it probably shouldn’t been more like 16 but I’ll take all these good to great songs we ... read more

Kanye West - ye
74

This album really saves all its gas till the end of album. Which unfortunately makes it feel not as great as a full album experience. I really love the messages and mention of mental health and like I said before the last two songs are either great or perfect. And I think the length is good. Just wish the beginning tracks were more and fit the aesthetic of the songs at the end of it.

85

This album is one of Kanye’s best yet it feels like it is slept on a lot. And while it has its lowlight’s it also has many highlight’s😉. Just a really hectic but somehow still focused album that has some great production and either the most mediocre lyrics you’ve ever heard or the best like on Saint Pablo.

Kanye West - Graduation
88

Kanye’s best album it has so many hits and is close to a flawless track list just dragged down by Drunk and hot girls, Barry Bonds of course. But the futuristic but also classic Kanye sampled production is amazing. And it has some of Kanye biggest hits obviously but also some of his sleeper hits. Great album, great content, and great artist.

Drake - Take Care
86

Drake’s best album has the hits but also has some underrated gems. One of the best sophomore albums of any rapper and even any artist. Just great balance of all types of Drake.
