OK, so I've finally finished listening to this album and taking a closer look at the lyrics. The problems she tries to explore are too complicated and varied to sum up easily: identity politics, class struggles, war, body issues, social conditioning, the celebrity effect… But she only touches on each one briefly, never really looking into any of them in depth.
