Sixpence is excellent at conveying christian themes that are compatible with even non-religious listeners. I've re-listened to this album so many times over the past 3 years and leigh nash's voice with the beautiful occasional orchestra while talking about other worldly love and compassion and betrayal in such a honest tone is so refreshing. Every single time I hear this song because someone is making fun of it I want to fucking commit because it’s genuinely so annoying to listen to and fucks with my head I don’t even know why it actually pisses me off to that point but the best way to describe it is that it’s like if being woken just right by as the sleeping meds are hitting was turned into a song

It’s so colorful and that chorus has to have literal crack in it because I can’t stop thinking about it. AND THAT BRIDGE. The production is literally perfect, and I definitely vibe with the lyrics and Tyler’s flow
