"DAMN." Kendrick Lamar's 4th studio album has an incredible concept, messages and ideas that it pulls off with not only HUGE radio hits like DNA, ELEMENT, and HUMBLE, but with lesser known songs that come together to paint not only a compelling story, but a message of a man against his past and his evils.
Wickedness, or weakness?
This album I feel is compareable to Kanye West's 8th studio album "The Life of Pablo" (2016). That album (at least interperated by me) ... read more
"The Life of Pablo" is both Kanye's most concise and confusing albums he has ever made. Unfinished yet developed, most experimental, yet most mastered.
Most Kanye albums to me I have a clear grasp on what they mean to me, MBDTF is an atmospherically rich view into the mind of a troubled man (after the large controversies in 2009). College Dropout is Kanye saying "This is what I am capable of, watch me fly".

This album contains songs like: "Momma, Hood Politics, HMADC, Complexion, Blacker the Berry, King Kunta, i, Mortal ... read more

Because of this, I have formed great memories of Europe, alongside these songs. So, whenever I listen to this album, it reminds me of the great memories I had travelling.
This perfectly sums up my feelings on this project. The fact that this is Kendrick Lamar's 2nd project astounds me to no end. Not only is the ... read more
