Arlo Parks - Ambiguous Desire
86

Here's where a real musician makes good music again. Arlo Parks never disappoints really.

Cobrah - Torn
80

Bangers! Bops! A fun album which will turn your surrounding into clubbing space. Torn will tear your inner energy (in the best way).

Brent Faiyaz - Icon
80

One of the best R & B albums of 2026 that will put you in the Valentine's mode instantly. And "Icon" screams "Taste, Classy, Seduction"!

Recommended Tracks: have to., wrong faces, other side., strangers., vanilla sky.

Khruangbin - The Universe Smiles Upon You ii
NR

Does Bin Bin ii replace "Mr. White"?

Tame Impala - Deadbeat
85

To be honest, I do enjoy listening to this album repeatedly. Not as much as "Currents" though.
Dracula is a standout. My Old Ways is a gem. Ethereal Connection, The End of Summer transport me to the club, and how could you resist "Afterthought "? This album is such a "Grower".

Eddie Benjamin - HOME
90

The music feels like a therapy, and their vocals are in great harmony. 👍👏

Perrie - Perrie
70

Not a bad album, quite good if you like Pop. Just this busy week Doja Cat, Mariah Carey, Olivia Dean, Zara Larrson...all over the ears.

Recommended Tracks:

Sand Dancer
If He Wanted To He Would
Cute Aggression
Punchline
Rocket Scientist

Tame Impala - Dracula

Single of the Week!!! The best out of three singles from Tame Impala's upcoming album. This one will stand the test of time. Adore the vibes.

Parcels - LOVED
89

Feel good & uplifting (eventhough some songs are about heartbreaks). "LOVED" is filled with love literally. A perfect combination of Funk Soul blend with Psychedelic Pop Rock. An album which you would want to recommend to your friends instantly.

My Top 5
1. Yougotmefeeling
2. Tobeloved
3. Ifyoucall
4. Leaves
5. Safeandsound

A Banger!!! Hate the single artwork though.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Perimenopop
89

Eventually she is in her top form again. Electropop, Disco suit Sophie Ellis-Bextor 's voice than the alt-pop vibes she opted for the last three albums. Perimenopop will be her new big milestone!

My Top 5

Stay On Me
Relentless Love
Don't Know What You've Got Until It's Gone
Time
Freedom Of The Night

Djo - The Crux (Deluxe)
85

Even (a bit) better than The Crux. Joe Keery is in his top form, every songs on The Crux Deluxe is "gems".

My Top 5

Purgatory Silverstar
T. Rex Is Loud
Carry The Name
Love Can't Break The Spell
Who You Are

藤井風 [Fujii Kaze] - Prema
80

Smooth R&B blends perfectly with a bit of Funk, Disco, Fusion Jazz and City Pop. You could really feel the vibe of the 70s and 80s from track 1 to 9. Good album that is beautifully produced.

Sabrina Carpenter - Man's Best Friend
87

This is how a POP album should sound like. Surely up to par with Short N' Sweet. 70s influence are in the presence on the whole album, Disco, Abba-ish, melodies are a total bop.

Top 5 (Second Listening)
1. Tears
2. House Tour
3. Manchild
4. My Man on Willpower
5. Sugar Talking

Royel Otis - hickey
85

Satisfying album. Great music, lyrics. A bit retro indie sound, yet modernised!!!

Wolf Alice - The Clearing
85

The Clearing is well put together, flows perfectly. Wolf Alice is on top of their game (again).

sombr - I Barely Know Her
80

Definitely an album you will enjoy if you're into pop/rock that is easy to chew. Not a groundbreaking album, but not to be skipped either. Quite a good debut LP.

KAYTRANADA - AIN'T NO DAMN WAY!
85

Simply a contender for Best Dance Recording.

Dijon - Baby
90

This is quite a surprise, in a good way. PRINCE would be so proud of this album. BABY is this generation's Sign 'O' the Times.

Conan Gray - Wishbone
75

Must be his best album... period

My Top 5
1. Care
2. Vodka Cranberry
3. Actor
4. Class Clown
5. This Song

Worth Mentioning : Sunset Tower, Nauseous, My World, Connell
