Soothingly dark. The overall sound on this album, especially the first two songs, is amazing. I just love this melancholic and acoustic but not quite emo sound they have to portray loneliness.
Swing On This does not fit with the album's theme and overall it just isn't a good song.

It's easy to say this album is intense, and it is beautiful in that way. Modern and mainstream hiphop has never touched on subjects quite like Yeezus. It's been a long time coming.
A lot of people are talking about how separating the art from the artist is necessary to truly appreciate the album, and that's impossible because of what Ye has done. I think that this album is actually a perfect representation of coming out of a psychotic episode and trying to connect to your roots.
