This album feels like Kim's return to her roots, but with much harsher and more experimental textures. It sounds very nostalgic, yet new at the same time. It feels very authentic compared to her last albums and I really like the direction this project took. Lyrics are more on the simple side, but they fit with the whole club bangers universe this album sits in. I really like more vulnerable moments on the album like Brutalist. They add a lot of substance to the whole listening experience. ... read more
At first I wasn't a big of this song when I heard the snippets / when it came out. Slowly it became one of my most listened songs this month. It's a grower. May not be the best song in her for now small, but incredible discography, but its not bad by any means. It is a song with a very loud personality to introduce this new era and to introduce her new position in the music industry. She has more eyes on her than during her debut EP and I think this song really serves well as that ... read more
Much better than whatever 143 was. It's still not touching anything during her peak, it's cute I guess? She has better songs that kinda outshine this one. It feels like it wants to go into the direction of one of the boys sonically, but its missing the catchiness of that era.
I actually really enjoyed this album. Is it as good as Girl With No Face? no, but its something different. I see and appreciate the vision behind this album. The weakest song to me is for me "is anybody out there?", which is a bit unfortunate, since it was a lead single and kind of my first impression of whats about to come with this project. I really enjoyed how moments like the outro of Uncle Lenny. There are some very interesting moments on the album.

It's not a bad song by any means, but it feels like a step back from artistic view. Feels like she went back to her EDM era, but it lacks what made those songs so memorable in the past.
This song feels so interesting, love how it kept building on itself and then escalated into such an euphoric, night city type of outro. I really love this single
. by Kesha is quite an interesting project. I wish it decided a bit more between the direction it wants to take. Some songs sound more like a casual summer day and other songs are sonically more theaterical or party songs. There are some highs and some lows, but overall it's a solid project, that will be worth returning to. In a way it feels like Kesha returned to her roots, but with a modern twist to it. It's always lovely to see, when artist evolves.

I've always felt so conflicted about this album. I'ts not bad by any means, but it really is not an album for me. There are some songs, which I find really cool, but some are just a skip for me. I am really looking forward for her next project, but this one compared to her EP Rina and debut Sawayama will always feel like the less developed and thought through project.
Favs: Frankenstein, Your Age, Imagining
Really disappointing release. I really wish she went more for a vibe of "Spot a Fake" with her new album. This feels like "Maybe Youre The Problem" sonically, but with less depth, catchiness or the energy to the sound. It feels as if you gave AI prompt to write an Ava Max song.
Mayhem by Lady Gaga is a really interesting album. As the title suggest, there is a bit of a mayhem when it comes to genres and vibes, which works well with the theme. I really enjoyed the singles Disease and Abracadabra. Those two songs feel like they are part of her career highlights. Even tho Disease is highly underrated. I overall really like the album, but few songs do really throw me off from returning to it as a whole compared to listening to songs I prefer. I do wish quite a bit that ... read more
I got quite late into this album, but I feel like I discovered it in such a perfect time for this summer. Right from the first track Ride I was really intrigued and curious about what is next. With every song I just wanted to hear more and it made me hungry for next song. This album sets perfect atmosphere for a summer day near water. It's overall quite soft, but at the same time it really hits. It was such an enjoyable experience and album I will return to quite a lot in the future. ... read more
I really really wanted to like this album. It's not bad by any means, but compared to her other works it lacks depth and substance a bit. Vocally its beautiful, its something that I know Marina can deliver. The lyrics tho are really not hitting as they should. It's quite frustrating to witness as a long time Marina fan. You know that she can write really beautiful and meaningful songs, but with this album it feels like the lyrical theme kind of regressed. This album does have some ... read more
Brand new album from Lorde, feels unreal to be here. It's such a fresh and interesting sound. When what was that came out, I thought she would reheat melodrama nachos, but by the time Man Of The Year came out I knew that wasn't the case. Such an interesting and mature album to see. Something with Lorde I really appreciate is that she will always create this compelling universe around every album. It doesn's just feel authentic, it is authentic. This album feels so reductive and corny overall. I am not a big fan. I do really like Selena and her way to make interesting art even with vocals, that can be quite limited. Her singles from like 2017 were super interesting and intriguing. Compared to that era this album is just a mess? The best song on this album is Ojos Tristes, but its more so The Marias songs than Selena song. It just feels like this whole album is lacking in kind of every department and its a huge downgrade from her ... read more
Honestly, I am a really big fan of this. I am so glad she is no longer working with dr luke. This also feels really authentic and I am really excited to see where this is going. I really hope she keeps this up, cuz I've been really disappointed with the last few eras by her.
I really anticipated this album after the singles. I really enjoyed every single. The whole album was really enjoyable to listen to. The album itself sounds really fresh, but somehow brings me vibes of the summer 2019. Especially something, that was in the air back then. There is this carefree summer vibe to it all. This one will definitely be part of my summer 2025 soundtrack.

Such an enjoyable and fun project to listen to. I do wish it was longer, but other than that it blends DnB with pop flawlessly in a soft way as usually with her music. Listening to this really gives me the vibes for summer and it's a project I will be returning to a lot. The sampling really adds to the carefree summer nostalgia, that I get from this album.
