This is the first Drake album I've heard. It's true! This album was very odd to me, with constant ups and downs throughout the album. I quite enjoyed Over, Fancy, Find My Love, and Miss Me, but the others were either decent or mediocre. I am interested on how he builds on this in future albums though! There is potential I haven't heard him tap into quite yet.

Holy beats. What kind of beats did I just hear and why did I like it so much?

I was not expecting this album at all. This one was part of a seven-album collection a friend recommended me, and this has been my second favorite so far out of the four I've heard. I had no idea who Topaz Jones was before this, but now I see I need to go listen to his other album. The lyricism, the stories, I love his style! Gotta be honest, I'm actually sad I didn't like this one all that much. Sure, there were some BANGERS, but a lot of it sounded empty. Not to mention how different every single song is. I LOVED Mural and They.Resurrect.Over.New, and Blur My Hands, Deliver, and Prisoner 1 and 2 were great, but the entire middle of the album felt bland to me.
