One of my favorite Arctic Monkeys albums. It features some of my favorite songs from the band like The Pile Driver Waltz and the instrumentals are as good as they ever have been. My only complaint with the album is that the song writing is very weak. Alex Turner has never been a poet with his lyrics but now his lyrical flaws become more noticeable than ever. The album starts off on a bad note. After you finish listening to the first 3 tracks, you realize that this will not be an easy listen. Robert Smith does not sound like his regular self, instead, he sounds like someone else doing a bad Robert Smith impression. The drums do not match the other instrumentals. Even though this is by far the worst album by The Cure, this is not horrible. There are no songs here that I will ever come back to, however, there are no terrible songs on the album.
This album starts off with 4 great songs that will easily go down as some of the best songs of Kanye's career. After those 4 songs, the rest of the album is not very memorable at all. This is not one of Kanye's worst albums but it is definitely not one of his best.
Somehow this is the first "bad" Coldplay album. After a decade of releasing emotionless, effortless pop albums they are only now releasing a bad album. Coldplay has been boring for the past decade but this is a new low for them. At least all of the other albums had at least some great singles ad a few decent deep cuts but this album is just god awful.
