I would not be Music's servant if I never found this album. One of the best works of our time.
Fantastic. There's not a second of this album where I can't feel the pocket.
I love experiencing John's groovy and equally charming roots. He's always had soul.
Throughout New Color Bomb, Fast-Fast implements microtonal chord changes while maintaining a 12-tone system through these shifts. Most progressions, in my opinion, are pleasurable to the human ear. However, tracks like "Disintegrating", an 11-minute ambient track, juxtaposed with seemingly random sounds that add nothing to the already lacking and repetitive motif, leaves much to be desired.
