Fairly standard Young the Giant kind of stuff, which I like. Overall it was solid, a few standout songs.
Not my thing, but it was interesting enough for me to listen to it all. Once was probably enough though.
First time listening to Earl Sweatshirt...not for me at all. I really don't understand why he's so critically adored. Ok cool he raps in weird time signatures, so what? Only a couple of tracks have drums, every thing is a bit off-kilter. Again, so what? I'm sure it's intentional and he knows what he's doing, but it's not for me.

In many ways I think this album is more focused and more consistent than Postindustrial Hometown Blues; but overall I find it less impactful. It's a good album, I like a lot of the songs and perhaps they will grow on me, but so far the choruses and hooks aren't as powerful or memorable as their previous album.
