Ugh, take me back to the time when I first listened to this album while hiking at dawn on a quiet Sunday.
Honestly? It was decent for me. I kinda hated on it at first but the album grew on me. Sure this is definitely their worst album yet but it wasn't horrible. I did not like how Dr.Luke and Diplo produced part of this but whatever.
Jump - Generic title track for Blackpink, kinda boring but not bad. I wouldn't skip it if it came on my playlist.
Go - This track had the makings of a beautiful song but it delivered that promise halfway. Gone is the "BLACKPINK!" call and is ... read more
I need more rock in kpop. Like actual pop rock. And I hope this group continues to deliver on that
Decent album. Nobody Knows is one of their best tracks. Gentleman was kind of a miss for me.
This I love so much omg. My second favorite song from her (behind brutal of course)
imo this was their last good EP. Hot was great, Come Over was a good b-side. The rest of the songs are decent too. Ash is amazing.
Honestly, I like this more than Celebration. That's all I have to say about this track though.
I liked this one. The pop is a tad generic but this was her most lyrically meaningful album before she broke out with her whole sex schtick. I miss this Sabrina but oh well, people change i guess.
One of the better releases from 2026 so far. I wish they did a bridge in their title track but other than that it's a really good song.
Who is She: 9.5/10
Don't mind Me: 9/10
This was the type of album where you HAD to be there. Kiof started with a bang that was impressive coming from a small company. Their music was such a breath of fresh air with a mix of Rnb and dance pop with foundations in western culture. It's a shame they decided to do that live but you can never convince me their music was not good. I'm certain that they're always gonna release bangers
Ok so I don't *hate* GDragon's verse. It just doesn't flow right for me. And no offense to him but I hate his voice.
Other than that, it's a solid track from aespa. Lyrics were meh. MV was bizarre. Can't wait for Lemonade!
This album is a freaking masterpiece omg. I mean, it's NMIXX so I guess that's the norm but they somehow managed to keep outdoing themselves
Armageddon had two amazing title tracks, with Armageddon (the song) being my favorite track of all time, and Supernova, which I admit was a grower for me but became addicting real fast. The rest of the tracks were decent. I wouldn't say they're on the list for the best b-sides for aespa but I wouldn't rank them as my best from aespa either.
Overall, decent first album from them!
