First album review of 2025? The songs on here are angry and rage filled, from the song Hatred to Love Burns it is nothing but resentful and aggressive. There's a few softer cuts like River Of Sorrow which is as powerful as it is depressing. The song Enough? is a scathing disstrack to online incels and that is something I don't see enough of in this community, I'm glad someone is calling them out and telling them they are not welcome. This is a solid album to start the new year ... read more

Sci-fi death metal? This new Blood Incantation album is crazy good. I don't listen to much death metal, but this is really good, and it doesn't get boring or repetitive. This is more of an experience then an album, with it only being 6 songs long, half of which are The Stargate and the other half The Message. There is a nice blend between the heavy parts and the more chill lowkey parts, which makes it entertaining to listen to. The Stargate Tablet 2 has some nice electronic segments, ... read more

I think this is the best deathcore album I have heard. The vocals are on point and satisfying, the songs never get boring and switch up the formula. The lyrics are violent and abrasive, the drumming is phenomenal and the guitars are heavy and unrelenting. There is not a dull moment on this album, every song is interesting and keeps the tension high, waiting for the right moment to smash your face in. The only complaint I have is the song ...and Then She Bled, which is a very disturbing song and ... read more

This is the catchiest album I have ever heard. The hooks and choruses are immaculate, they work your way into your head and don't let go. I seriously can't get Spin out of my head it's so good. This album is full of emo and pop punk ooz, it makes me feel like I'm 15 again. I would actually say this is better then their debut album Tell All Your Friends; I really enjoyed that album but this is a definite improvement. The lyrics seem more refined and the guitars was on point. ... read more

Deftones - Deftones

I admittedly haven't listened to much Deftones outside of Around The Fur and White Pony. Im glad I checked out this album because it continues what I love about this band. There is nothing more satisfying then hearing heavy riffs with angelic and orgasmic singing. I love heavier cuts like the song When Girls Telephone Boys and Hexagram, which are just filled with loud screams and Nu Metal antics. But there's also the softer songs like Anniversary of an Uninteresting Event and ... read more
