EDIT: alright... that was a unique experience.
From talking about the sins of lust and to the struggles of being a rapper, 3K and Big Boi manage for once more to show us why they the real outcasts not only in the 90's rap game, but also as an influence in future rap music. Flow here is unique, from both rappers. Many verses are considered iconic in the majority of the songs, and i cant even disagree... , and with that they really get deep into many considerable topics ,which are even serious in modern times! People were right when they said that OutKast was ahead of its time.
For me, rap culture today and on many occasions as i've seen , was to the point of bragging and flexing. Like "watch me do this chick" and " look at my clothes" and on and on. TAhere have been a few times, only A FEW, where actual knowledge and thoughts are being represented. And this album , is one of these examples, ladies and gentlemen.
I mean dont get me wrong , here they do it too (Two Dope Boys) , but not in a way that they actually show off themselves, they really do it in a funky way and its actually fun. And with that comes also the fact that they get tha deep, to the state of themselves being an actual flex to the world! HOW GREAT IS THIS??
In coclusion, not gonna lie but at first i was being distant in actually giving it a go at this group. And i dont even know the fk why... this album got me really hookep just so you know. So yh on the next one .
