Thank you for the recommendation, @RobiBlueX! I hope that worked. This is my first ever recommendation, so don’t lynch me if I messed it up lol, and sorry it took so long.
Woah, okay. I didn’t know what to expect coming into this album. I’m so used to looking at the genre list beforehand that, when I inevitably saw nothing, I was curious. I assumed going into it that this album would contain some rock components, and while that was a good assumption, nothing could have prepared me for what this album had to offer. The first couple of songs were pretty standard noise rock, and I really enjoyed the instrumentals on Meduzy, especially halfway through. But once Bezmiar started playing, I started hearing this blend between noise rock and shoegaze, and it’s when I started noticing this fuzzy production being implemented. It really reminded me of Huremic/Parannoul in this final stretch. The last song was a big standout to me; extremely catchy, love the fuzzy riffs, and the drums were great as well. This was a really consistent and engaging LP, and I’d say this was a really good first impression of the recommendation system. I might even check out their previous album at another time.
