This album gives a vibe no other album can give. It has this weird, niche emo sound to it. And although it isn’t listed as a genre, I can definitely feel some punk embedded in some tracks like FIRE4FUN. Some of the lyrics can be a little awkward at times, like in BIGSHOT, which can make it a hard listen sometimes, but a lot of the instrumentals sound really good, especially in RE: CONCERNS. Every song has its own feel, and while I’d often criticize an album for not having a coherent sound or style, TRUST CEREMONY has this sort of cabaret-like feel that surprisingly works throughout (most of) the album. I also like Jhariah’s voice; he sounds good, like really good. I do have to admit, though, there are a lot of highs and lows prevalent on this album, which is hard to overlook, but it’s a very passionate album that doesn’t disappoint.
