The iconic Icelandic singer Björk returns for her sophomore effort, once again teaming with Nellee Hooper of Massive Attack. The result is an experimental, yet accessible rumination on mental health, love and relationships, and even some songs that seem to try and evade analysis entirely. This is for sure a music lover's album, that serves up a tapas of eclectic yet elegant options that leaves you amazed.

The all-star cast involved, including the aforementioned Nellee Hooper, Grammy and Ivor Novello Award-winning Marius de Vries, and Sjón - perhaps the only Icelandic poet most people can name outside of the country - put together an album that isn't quite like anything else on Earth. Is it perfect? No. The main issues show up in the mixing on the track 'Enjoy' - I found it near impossible to hear the vocals - and the fact that the strings and synthlines on 'I Miss You' don't quite create a cohesive piece and more feels like 'The Sugarcubes do faintly Arabic Eurovision 2005 entry'. But it is absolutely a must listen.
