Melanie Martinez - HADES

A great album, its sad to see so many bots and haters here giving it 0's and 100's, neither of which it is.

The first leg of the album is quite mediocre after the opening track, Garbage which is a beautiful song with some of her best vocals yet. Is This A Cult? Reminds me of a lot of her earlier music, thought cringey to me, its a interesting song instrumental wise. Possession really shines now that the rest of the album has dropped, its an all around good song, lyrically, ... read more

Magdalena Bay - mini mix vol. 2

Their best mini-mix yet.

The best conceptually, it felt as it was all meant to work together, less spontaneous as 1 and 3 are. The best instrumentally, despite 3 being newer, these instrumentals cant be beat, even through their growth as artists. "Body" has been on repeat since i first heard it about a year ago.

It'd be perfect if it werent for "Wowww" which is a song that truly makes me upset, wondering what purpose it served and its only purpose being to break up a ... read more

Magdalena Bay - A Little Rhythm and a Wicked Feeling

After sleeping on this for too long, Ive finally come to my senses.

A near perfectly constructed mixtape that would garner them their biggest hit yet. All of these songs from the worst to the best are good. A standout track for me was "Airplane", the melancholy lyrics united with the nostalgic early 90's sounding beat was more than enough but the chorus is genuinely the cherry on top. I havent heard an album this good from an independent artist, ever.

BTS - ARIRANG

An album that has no new character and sounds like the same wannabe hip-hop/rnb style that nearly every K-pop artist has been going for. When it isnt a blatant rip off of black culture, its a mess. The worst album I've heard all year and this is by no exaggeration.

Doja Cat - Scarlet 2 CLAUDE

As a stand alone EP, it's a great project. Acknowledge Me is a beautiful song with vocals I've never truly heard Doja display. Disrespectful is a fun pop-rap song, not unlike her usual which makes it feel out of place here, it almost reminds me of a Lizzo song as well. URGE is pretty mid, A$AP has a good verse but Doja just doesn't flow well on these beats. OKLOSER has me hooked because the instrumentals, the flute is just a genuine eargasm, the lyrics however are mid at best. ... read more

Mid. Forgettable even as a diehard fan. Songs have zero replay value, they all feel manufactured for the masses instead of just being genuine good pop-rap and rnb like her sophomore. Going into this album on its release day it was gold, but it's aged like yogurt.. not quite as spoiled as milk, but it's still pretty nasty. There's a few good tracks, most of which are the pre-release singles, with Need To Know being the highlight of the 3. Love To Dream is a standout for her vocals ... read more

A beautiful mess from start to (almost) finish. Each song feels like time was put into it, the instrumentals are sensual and vibrant. This album has hit after hit for good reason. The cover is also just top tier in my opinion, it encapsulates the sound of the album perfectly.

Doja Cat - Scarlet

One of her stronger, more consistent and thoughtful projects. It outshines her early works while still tagging behind Planet Her in many ways. It's a very solid project.
For the most part songs belong where they should, fitting in with those around them while (most of the time) still being unique. I think the lack of features on the standard really shows the point she was making with this LP. Plus she didn't really need them anyways

Ayesha Erotica - precum

Quite possibly her most consistent and personal album. From start to finish its bops, after bops, hits after hits. I just wish she would make a deluxe with all the My Last Disaster tracks! (since we did get Menlo Park after all)

Ashnikko - Smoochies

Miles ahead of her debut, "WEEDKILLER". This LP is what me as a fan was hoping it would be, a return to classic, loud, weird girl Ash. It has some weak moments, but very strong ones too, and overall it sounds as she had more fun creating this album just by listening to it. Love Love Love ASH

Doja Cat - Vie

A long time Doja Cat fan, and this has to be her best album with Scarlet. Her vocals, wordplay, rapping, and producing have all improved on this record, my only two complaints are, many tracks blend into each other, and the instrumentals can also seem a bit repetitive. SZA also just doesn't fit onto Take Me Dancing, you can tell it was a last second collaboration. Come Back sounds a bit like it belongs on a Lion King soundtrack, while Happy might be her saddest song to date. The French on ... read more

This mixtape makes my coochie quake in ways I had no clue it could. She was in her bag with this one, besides the middle placed tracks on the tape, they're all hits. Celebrity has me in a CHOKEHOLD.

Recently listened to the whole LP, haven't been this obsessed with a pop album since Planet Her. From start to finish she really displays her growth from Troubled paradise artistically. It does have a few tracks that are mid at best, but besides those this album is pop perfection.

Kim Petras - Pop Sound

Reminds me of modern hyperpop and early 2010's electro-pop, this is song is FIRE. Out of her recent singles, this has the best lyricism, beat and replay value. Can't wait til it's on streaming!
