oh no, the gentrification of electropop is actually happening. well, it’s been happening. this is genuinely the most boring electropop album I’ve ever heard. production was okay-ish, it wasn’t doing that interesting though. the vocals on this thing are so unpleasant to listen to, on top of drowning it in autotune. she’s the gracie abrams of electropop. 5.9/10 —-> 4.6/10

Robyn came back, and she came back SWINGING. WOW she really just had her foot on the pedal this whole album and didn’t stop. It was so consistently fun throughout, I loved the electro-dance route she went with this. All in all, it’s just a damn great pop record.

Very strong first listen! The production was super different and unique, it was exactly what I felt was missing from his recent music. Vocals and writing were great. I’ll need to listen to this more though, there’s really a lot to chew on here.

I genuinely have no words, I am absolutely dumbfounded by this absolute beauty of a record. Vocal performances were genuinely nuts, the orchestration and instrumentation being so lush and beautiful yet being so gritty and.. cathartic? And my god, these lyrics.. the writing.. the emotion, is all there. Hats off to ROSALÍA. Hats. Fucking. Off. There’s so much to take in on first listen, I am literally so overwhelmed, but in the best way possible.
