JAYOVSN - This Is POP MUSIC in 2026...
85

Well well well.. jayo.. this IS pop music in 2026. The project opens with the song ‘…in 2026’ which serves as a sort of groundwork for how the rest of the project will sound. Overall, this song serves as an INCREDIBLE introduction to the songwriting of the album and kept me hooked and wanting to listen to more.

The lead single, tantalized, follows that with a more calmer focus on the pop/edm style seen in early-mid 2010s pop while adding its sort of own ... read more

band practice - opener

hey i mean its pretty good if i do say so myself

10

when i thought this project couldnt get any worse, it got worse. when i thought it couldnt get any better, it didnt get better. foreskin sounds were a positive though

brakence - punk2
82

brakences talent for lyricism shines in this project and is definitely what i would consider his best project yet and has some of his best songs ever.

brakence - hypochondriac
73

despite having leagues better production, i think that the lyricism found in this project falls flat of his previous project, punk2.

aldn - greenhouse
81

awesome stuff and is really good, definitely solidifies aldn as one of the best people out there making music right now

kurtains - florence fields
75

everything in this project is done exceedingly well however i just wish it was longer as it leaves a lot to be desired and feels cut short

glaive & ericdoa - then i'll be happy
52

cool collab just wish it was executed better with a longer runtime and it couldve been a really good project

glaive - old dog, new tricks
58

i mean, its a little bit of an improvement but still feels quite lackluster and ultimately hurts the project more than it does help it

glaive - all dogs go to heaven
63

this feels like a repeat of his debut ep and despite the higher production value, it left less of an impact on me and feels quite stale in comparison to his other projects.

glaive - cypress grove
68

this project was good for its time and has some songs that still hold up well enough to this day which says something for the everchanging hyperpop scene where he once started

glaive - i care so much that i dont care at all
74

despite the switch in genres, i do think glaive does well on this project and continues to show his growth and passion as an artist. the lyric content can be overly despressive which can come off as corny, the moments where it doesnt shows glaives talent for lyricism

glaive - May It Never Falter
83

glaives most cohesive project to date and continues to be some of his best work ever but i do still think theres room for improvement and refinement which makes me excited for glaives future as an artist

glaive - a bit of a mad one
77

by far one of glaives best projects especially with the song living proof on here, the sound of the ep works together in a really compelling way and carries so much emotion

quinn - drive-by lullabies
90

to me, the tracklist feels disordered and chaotic but i think that captures the essence of what the album is about and just has some really cool and nice concepts within the project and is definitely one of the standout projects from the hyperpop scene

Porter Robinson - SMILE! :D
85

another really good collection of songs from porter and presents the humanity and boundaries of being a "celebrity" in a really compelling way and has some of porters best written lyrics ever

Porter Robinson - Nurture
100

this album changed me as a person and i will always have a strong connection to this album. its become something akin to a comfort album and im sure if youre feeling down or lost, this album will change that in a way that it changed me

JAYOVSN - wicked
83

jayo paid me 20 dollars to give this score

Lightt - doomed
80

its so gas... not my most streamed lightt song but is still really good!! i think the higher vocals off of capernum help the song and is definitely a really good feature
