I pleasantly enjoyed the more relaxing vibe this album was going for. The Gospel aspects I found to be pretty unique as for I have never really heard rap like this. Though it is a me thing, I think it didn't need so many intermissions. I'm not super into intermissions as a whole so the over abundance did bring it down for me. But this is still great

This is Tom's first album and it is clear he was finding his footing. This is by no means a knock on him we all start from somewhere but some of the songs I feel are more about the jokes in the lyrics (which are still pretty funny) than being bopping to listen to. This is why I think "Future of Mankind" to be the weakest song on the album while "Mixed Messages" I find to be the strongest because it does mix the funny lyrics with a catchy instrumental. I think the overworld themes are solid complementing the direction of that game was going for creating a somber yet relaxing vibe while running across the worlds. The cyberspace stages can be a little hit or miss with some having a pretty funky beats, while others are just bland. But the lyrical tracks are all incredible.
