Y'all don't get it, just like djent, the fine print in thall is the amount of fuckery there is while maintaining cohesion, they have the fuckery, needs a bit more cohesion but it's not as bad as everyone says it is
She's done it, this album is one of my "perfect records" it's the perfect mix between an accessible sound and massive noise rock passages, some parts remind you of swans, some of Xiu Xiu, some of the writing is slint like and sometimes it's BMTH inspired, this record is amazing, I should do a more in depth review but I'll probably postpone that eternally
Choruses are the worst part of songs at times, why do the pop elements in some songs feel better? Only the singles are amazing songs, the other songs on this record are boring, there's potential to really mix pop with thall and make it sound nice, but this one is not it, songs like covet, reverie, allured (and devotion from their previous album) show they can do it, but the album is mostly just mid
