Mainstream phonk song, barely serves its' purpose as an introduction for people who are new to this genre.
With the cool song cover and all, I expected this song to blow my mind, but instead I found it underwhelming. Sure, the arrangement of different voices and instruments was impressive, but there are much better songs out there. I feel like lots of people listen to songs such as this, are disappointed and never touch the genre again.
How this song has no reviews surprises me.
Saying this song goes hard is a severe understatement. It hits like a truck. I know it's supposed to feel like a dream, but for me it feels like an epiphany or realisation. Anybody who hasn't taken time out of their day to listen to this should definitely do so. My only complaint is that the ending where the pitch lowers is weird and uninteresting. Nothing like I have ever heard before, but good nonetheless.
This was recommended to me by zDriplet and, in my opinion, is a great first album to start with. I love how instruments were slowly added in, as if the album takes you on a journey. I also felt like the crescendos were powerful and meaningful.
