the weird flows and delivery and catchy melodic flows are really unique. the distorted edm trap and horror core beats he is rapping on works suprisingly well for his style.
i liked his first album he released but it still sounded rough around the edges. i feel like this is a huge improvement. i´m glad i gave this the time to grow on me. would have rated it in the high 50s to low 60s on first listen
the quality of the music isn´t bad. aside some akward rnb esque sounds songs and some rock and rage songs alot of this sounds almost excatly the same. aside like a handfull songs it sounds like the same pop rap songs 15 times. production and features are basicly what you expect not great but not to bad either.
so faygo had so much potential when he came on the scene. five years later he sounds like a watered down travis scott.
the ominous sounding dark beats mixed with 21 savage´s laid back delivery really work well to create this "halloweeny vibe". offset and quavo do a good job at matching the vibe while giving good flows and catchy melodies. the whole vibe and production gets carried by metro boomin´s production
this is a huge step up from his old music in terms of quality. the samples and the chipmunk soul production overall is really good. it reminds of old kanye. nine´s flow and energy and delivery is really good and reminded me of old young thug. this whole album has a really cool original vibe.
i find the hate bombing lame here. nine might be horrible person but this is a really good album.
it´s not bad but it doesn´t blow me away either. most of the track list is passable as slightly above mid. aside the few stand out songs. this whole album lacks everything what made young thug special and made him stand out from everyone.
this sounds like the <3 album but with a fresh breathe of air. there are still a lot of songs that sound similiar but it´s not as bad as on some other albums he released. they are a lot of good moments on here but there is a fair amount of repetitiveness on here.
the first half is so good , but falls of towards the end. i love the bubblegum bass / electro pop mix with edm. really good production and catchy vocals. really cool idea overall
pretty much every song sounds the same and the quality isn´t that great either. getting through this as a whole feels like a chore. it´s the same mid beat with lone´s mid rapping. they are some good songs sprinkled here in there but for the majority of time it´s really boring and painfully mid
