This is fucking painful to sit through, probably the most generic trap album I've ever heard.
Fuck, I feel kinda bad saying that. That was my introduction to Muse by a friend's recommendation, and... that was so boring, Propaganda is pretty good tho.
I first found her through Brockhampton's No Halo, and was expecting more? don't know. Nothing here is bad, but she struggles to do anything unique or really interesting. Still, I'll be hearing what she does next, maybe there is some potential here
Yung Lixo alternates emotional tracks with the parody trap songs he's know for, what completely breaks the flow between tracks on the project. Most emotional tracks don't work in my opinion (with the exception of Escola), while the trap songs are great and have actually funny jokes, which is really hard to do. Overall, the icconsistency of the project breaks what could have been a great album, and it leaves me wondering if he wants to go on a more serious direction or keep doing the fun parody ... read more
I don't know what Rude is trying to do here, because that doesn't work as an ambient album at all, i find some tracks really distracting (like Jasmin, Blossom, and Gypsy), and the overall production style on some songs of a more eletronic take on traditional japanese music, really doesn't work for me.
Really disappointed here, i really like some of Travis' solo projects and he's a great producer, so i really hoped for something better. But this is just a short collection of random trap songs that don't offer anything. I guess GANG GANG, WHAT TO DO?, and GATTI are some highlights, but still, nothing that would make this a good record
oh, i forgot that HIGHEST IN THE ROOM remix, it's fucking awful
In my opinion, this is one of the must hear lo-fi albums. It's surprisingly creative throughout it's 34 minutes of duration (fun fact: the average song lenght is 54 seconds), the vocals in some of the tracks like Woolen Mittens, I'm in Love Again, So in Luv, You're Cute, Being in Love with U are gorgeous, and instrumentally, every one is interesting in it's own way (with some exceptions), sometimes even surprising with new little sounds.
For me, this record proves the potential to do something ... read more
Just a cute ep, nothing exceptional about the production or lyrics, but it has a nice atmosphere. Although it has some bad tracks, Flaming Hot Cheetos, 4EVER, and Pretty Girl are pretty good
I think it would be better if Clairo commited to a specific style and push it even further (e.g. Pretty Girl)
I don't think I ever forgot most tracks of an album faster that this, even the guest features I was looking for didn't stick in my mind. I guess the only one that i can remember is Yummy, just because of how awful and out of place it sounds.
Some tracks in the end are... not bad, like Changes and That's What Love Is. But still, this album is so boring and forgettable. Don't think there's more to say here.
I do understand how someone wouldn't like that album, but the vocals, (most) lyrics, and mainly the production (which is awesome, as expected from Ye) just works for me in a lot of ways. The short duration also helps it in my opinion, just being that little sincere and weird project that doesn't extend more than it should. Overall a pretty solid project with some emotional moments

God, it's been a year since i wrote my previous review and it feels so long ago. It's so weird reading how much someone can change in a short period of time, to the point that i can't even recognize him, so here's her (current me) review
It's fine musically, it's the pop-catchy vibes ajr is know for, the thing that really turns me off the project are jack's lyrics, which are just really childish and not well written in general, that's why most of my favorite tracks where written by ryan
