Oh my gooooood don't get me started. This album is fucking beautiful. The constant juxtaposition between higher-energy moments of rock n roll and slower, thoughtful composition is seriously masterful. To me, the standout tracks are "Plum," and "Blue Cloud."
Plum begins with a crunchy piano chord that initially doesn't really sound appealing to the ears, before slowly evolving with a satisfying progression and added layers to the sound.

I REALLY like this album when I feel like short bursts of oddly-catchy oddly-distorted oddly-noisy noise rock. There's no "but," either. I just really like this. I really like all* of Thee Oh Sees' stuff.
Certainly scaring the hoes, but this one ain't for the hoes. This one's for me. 🥹
