Kanye West - Jesus Walks
96

Wow this was a hit? i didn't think it would be due to the fact that this song is sort of controversial in a way. Anyways what am i arguing for this song is EPIC in every-way and has such a good message behind it. I am shocked 2004 has started off amazingly so far (hopefully i haven't jinxed it.)

Akon - Locked Up
74

Locked Up is a song about how Akon is locked up and he cant get out. Although a little tacky i still really enjoy the song, not my favourite from Akon but idk i like the beat and the chorus is cool too

Ludacris - Stand Up
82

Great chorus, Good verses from Luda as he brings his charisma to the track, great beat by Ye. Its just a great club hit

Baby Bash - Suga Suga
78

That guitar adds an extra layer of coolness to the track, its a proper vibe if you get into it its nice.

Kanye West - All Falls Down
98

Damn back to back 9s. We got the introduction of mr Kanye West ladies and gents hell yeah. This song is just peak Ye right here, everything from the flow to the rhymes to that dang chorus (still stuck in my head) easily one of Kanyes best this song is just stellar on every single level and i'm so glad it was this popular to land on this top 50 list.

Britney Spears - Toxic
96

Damn how did this not hit a number 1 in the US. This is a fantastic pop track and my favourite Britney song ever. Chorus hits so hard and the beat is so strange yet interesting and sounded so different to everything else at the time. Yeah its a strong 9

Ying Yang Twins, Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz - Salt Shaker
60

Yeah we are defintely at the high popularity of crunk, this song is kinda terrible but if u can accept that this song is bad then u can allow yourself to have a good time with it. I dont hate it

Jessica Simpson - With You
72

A bit of a tacky and cheesy song lyrically but its charming and cute in a way that works

50 Cent - In Da Club
90

NUMBER 1 SONG OF 2003: This actually deserves the number 1 spot. One of the best club bangers and the song that put 50 on the map. The beat still sounds class 21 years later

R. Kelly - Ignition (Remix)
80

R Kelly's actions aside. Songs a banger and will remain that way. Its the remix to ignition

Sean Paul - Get Busy
75

I'm telling you now, Sean Paul was HIM back in the day cus this is a fun spicy banger

Beyoncé - Crazy in Love
93

Now this, this right here is ICONIC! the infectious hook and those blaring horns mix together so well as Jay and B bring the high energy and chemistry that is needed of the early 2000s. One of the best pop songs of this decade. Yes sir

3 Doors Down - When I'm Gone
62

Solid production, but its another rock song that doens't do much for me. I can understand why people would like this though

Matchbox Twenty - Unwell
64

I've been critical of Matchbox Twenty but this track is alright, nothing mind blowing and kind of tacky but its charming in a way i appreciate it more

Chingy - Right Thurr
58

Sort of an iconic bling era rap song and it can definitely work in parties but i don't really care for it besides that

Aaliyah - Miss You
60

RIP Aaliyah of course but this song is just ok in my opinion, just a mediocre R&B track. It's not bad its just nothing to mention

Kid Rock - Picture
43

Not Kid Rocks worse. Very tacky and boring

Evanescence - Bring Me to Life
29

The song has good production but i can't take it seriously i'm sorry

Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz - Get Low
77

Oh god, we've reached the popularity of crunk, haha. In all seriousness this song is funny af and is definitely a drunk party banger. "TO THE WINDOWWWWWWWWWW, TO THE WALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL" is still stuck in my head lmao

Beyoncé - Baby Boy
70

Its a good Beyonce and Sean paul song. Not really much to say
