Same emotional themes they do so well but there’s a total switch up with a blend of dreamy, upbeat melodies.

This album is so well done. Delivering a dark, agonizing, emotional experience to these hopeful and edgier melodies. I will never forget this album and I will always come back to it. Maybe I’m blinded by an emotional tie. For me, the album speaks to the hopelessness of continuing life in this soulless world but reminds us how universal this experience is.

This album hot me at a very particular time in my life where it now serves as a comfort album. It has more edge to it and the lyrics felt more genuine.

This is definitely one of their more popular albums and it certainly captured the early 2010s motive of longing to be cool by whatever means.

Listening to this album truly speaks to the other very gay half of my soul. So grateful for this album. I feel like once I start it I have to keep driving or walking until I’m all the way through.

Listening to this album from start to finish is what I imagine taking a solo Scandinavian roadtrip would feel like. That’s really the best way I can describe it.

Pop is so back! Magdelena Bay has such an ethereal voice that blends so effortlessly over the synth and bass lines.

This album helped me to understand how educated people end up in cults. Nothing should be able to manipulate my emotions the way this album did. I was having a perfectly fine day and now I have a pit in my stomach while I contemplate innocence lost.
