ok so
i recognize that this emo-pop-punk blend is not my cup of tea. the beginning of the album got me hooked, but by the second half of it i was kinda bored. still, it’s a very well put project, with very interesting ideas, and some songs became very iconic for the emo genre. overall a good listening experience
favourite track: Doomed
the skill it requires to build something this intricated and yet so well put is incredible. really a jaw dropping ep
this quickly became a comfort album for me. i come back to it from time to time when i need to lay on my bed and float (jesse pinkman style). and the fact that after all these years they are still able to give us an album like this is incredible. i love deftones to death.
favourite track: i think about you all the time
one of the most unsettling musical experiences i ever had. loved everything about it
a good mix of pop punk and classic teen drama music. olivia's voice hooks you to her melodies.
had a good taste of white girl music, now imma go back to some loathe.
