@DestroyPuppet Let's see.. It has a really strong and confident presentation, it's bold in its character writing (DID MutsuMortis, the tragedy surrounding Uika/Hatsune), ends in a ambitious and thematically sound way, and above all else it's just a really fun watch. I'd love to hear why you think it's a bad anime, because to me, it's one of the best anime I've ever watched in my entire life and it resonated with me heavily.
@Victor0621 Rushed in which aspect? The ending of the show is thematically very sound. Sakiko suddenly cutting ties with the Togawa group is supposed to be viewed as delusion. Uika's tragedy being unveiled so late into the season is a testament of how bold and unconventional the writing decisions in the show was. The final episode 13 is exactly what it needs to be. The lyrics of Musica Caelestis literally sings about how they'll give their lives to the world of Ave Mujica, never moving forward, contrasting MyGO's message of moving forward together. It's not rushed at all. Unless of course, you have a good reason to call it rushed? (I'm sorry for being like this, I just really love the show and I would defend it to my dying breath.)
@KWIRA Well,it is pretty bold.....but representing in the worst way possible:there's basically no logic in the second half's plot, and all I can tell it's the creator can't handle where the story going to be like,so they just abruptly let the character growing up with very little explaining of why and how ,and finally rushing to a good end.All the serious setting in the beginning eventually being explained in a way that so bad that even kinda funny(such as the darkness of Sakiko's family and like you said, the tragedy surrounding Uika/Hatsune),or didn't call back at all.
It do have ambition, but without a proper way to narrtate it,it's just gonna end up to be a bad one.
@DestroyPuppet If by "so they just abruptly let the character growing up with very little explaining of why and how" you're referring to Sakiko's resolve in episode 12, they don't have to explain it to the viewers face because they trust the viewers to dismantle it on their own. Sakiko's ascension to godhood has been foreshadowed all throughout MyGO and Ave Mujica with how much we see her running away from reality. It is only through witnessing Uika's tragedy she's able to find the resolve to share her powers as Oblivionis. Calling it a "good end" is just wrong. This charade of forgetting and running away isn't supposed to be seen as a good thing. Sakiko herself even acknowledges the shortcomings in Ave Mujica's world.
@breenklered well I suggest you to watch its previous work It's Mygo!!!!! first to figure out what's going on in Ave Mujica(it's a really good one btw),as for Ave Mujica, all I can say it's be prepared for what you about to see
It do have ambition, but without a proper way to narrtate it,it's just gonna end up to be a bad one.
