Well, I never felt a really personal connection with the Jack Stauber's music, but I admit he created some of the weirdest jams I have ever found on the internet. Truly a master of the hypnagogic pop. But, this specific song always felt like a different thing from his entire catalog. Something I always wanted him to explore. And this video really brings it up to higher levels.
The surrealism of most part of Jack's work always was kinda odd and uncomforting, but I really love the apocalyptic and somber imagery round this, since the fetus being destroyed to the creepy smiling face, and even the silly hand cars: there are so many absurd but terrifying elements that converts this on one of the most complex artworks of Jack, but also his most fascinating and twisted video ever. Truly, every moment here feels very eerie, and each time the shit just goes on a glitch, the next thing is more impactful and obscure, but also kind of impressive and fascinating.
