This is definitely my favorite AJR project to date. Their production quality has gotten so much better, and vocally Jack keeps exceeding expectations. However, there are points where the vocals just don’t fit and it feels like straight autotune. Definitely one of the best albums of 2025.
Atmospherically this entire album goes above and beyond what most albums do. While narrated through the point of view of a character the album somehow doesn’t suffer from the dramatic pull of conversing topics that are just about the character and not connecting to a lot of outside topics.

I'm gonna split this into three sections. Instrumentally, lyrically, and vocally.
1) Instrumentally the song is one of their best, not too much happening but the song is definitely still noticeably AJR.
