This is very much a "junk food" album. Yeah it can be catchy, but it also can be quite stale. The songs tend to blend together a bit and don't feel super unique from each other. There's also some questionable lyrics, nothing terrible but definitely a bit cheesy, and not in a good way. Most of the time the writing is pretty basic, but occasionally there's something creative thrown in that catches my ear and spices things up. It does have a pretty consistent vibe, it's upbeat yet sad, giving it an almost emo feel despite the bubbly exterior. It's a fun enough listen, probably won't be listening much more though.
