When I saw their show in Bend in April, they made me go on stage and play bass for Coffee Song while their actual bassist passed around coffee. I don't play bass. You can imagine the embarassment.
Aside from the trauma they gave me, it's a damn good song. I like the FUCKING ALMOND MILK section it's silly. October isn't as good, but that's more of a me thing, as I like the fun stuff more. It's still a pretty good track. Overall nice double release!
I know TX2 believes every word he says on this track, but I get the most out of it when I completely divorce it from the artist and pretend it was written ironically. Anyways, aside from that, I unironically love this song. It's terrible, don't get me wrong, but the production makes its terribleness sound good in my ears, and I don't mind the instrumental, and in my own little world, I am okay with his annoying ass voice because it's fun! I'm having fun! Sure this song ... read more
The biggest heel face turn in history because. How the fuck do you go from "this is a tribute to a friend I lost to drug abuse" to "this is a song about how SAD I am because you all HATE me" like. Pick a struggle. I beg. Oh yeah also the song is ass
TX2 continuing his trend of collaborating with "one of the biggest bands in the scene" and it's some guy I don't care about. Like I don't doubt the featured artist is popular I just do not care that they are on the TX2 song
Anyways, I don't hate this like I did Vendetta! INK fits well with this song (even though he looks hilarious next to a tiny little emo twink) and the song itself, while a little forgettable, sounds great! The lyrics aren't even that bad! ... read more
Silly TX2, people don't hate you because you wore a dress, they hate you because you're a disingenuous piss ant that makes bad "punk" (it's more like diet emo but we'll walk on your terms evan) music and can't take criticism! :)
All jokes aside, I don't hate this. The last "I am everything you say about me" section is really boring, but for most of the song, it's actually a jam. I don't mind that it's slightly a House of Wolves ... read more
This song had potential to be actually listenable. Instead, it loses steam the second its first verse is over, has an unmemorable feature from Johnny 3 Tears, and tells some random guy on TikTok to kill themselves for not liking shitty emo. I don't know what to score this one but just know it's complete ass and you should go listen to something else
Why is this rated so low?? It's a standard deco*27 banger I don't get it. I enjoy the overall mix, the chorus and post chorus are earworms, and I enjoy how Miku is tuned. The cover art is also really good, overall just the standard fair for Deco.
71 -> 77 this song gets better for me every listen. The instrumental itself feels more rock focused which I think contributes to this feeling
I woulda given it a 70 but given the song's lyrics I feel the funny number is more fitting
I would've ranked this way higher on first listen, but after many relistens she's made a lot better past this point. It's her first song, so I hold nothing against her as an artist, but the vocals aren't nearly as impressive as the covers made after it released are. I'm glad it got her the boost she needed in Japan to do more though, so good for her.
Edit 69 -> 56 I ... read more
nanananana ready for my showwwwwwwww
Whenever Giga and Ado do a song together it's always the best thing you've ever heard, and I am ALL for it. The beat is very nice, I personally fuck with all the yelling on the song too. It's unnecessary, it's in your face, and you can tell she's having a ton of fun. The post chorus is one of my favorite parts of the song, and in the music video when they're busting their stupid little moves while the other is sitting down all ... read more
One of the most easily accessible Ado tracks to whiny bitches that don't understand Ado. One of her least out there vocal performances, while still being really strong, backed up with a catchy backing track from Giga and TeddyLoid. I'd recommend this to anyone looking to get into Ado, or someone that still needs convincing that she's worth her salt as a J-pop artist.
There is one good song on this album. It is brought down by a tech n9ne feature with a random transphobic bar in it. This is all that needs to be said.
Edit: I just realized the date in which this album released, and have come to the horrific realization that I turned 17 on this horrible day. I feel my entire life flashing before my eyes.
Edit 2: okay there's actually 2 (sorta) good songs
I am very very homosexual. Naturally, you can guess that this album was made for me.
Shoutout to eminem for reminding me to score this track. Absolute banger it needs more attention. It goes on for a bit too long but is otherwise a fucking banger
Fixed all my problems with the other tracks I've heard. Kendrick if you drop one more I'll listen to TPAB pspspspspsps
Kendrick really said "legalize nuclear bombs" with this one
Docking a couple points off for vocal delivery that sounds like he doesn't care about the third plane he just crashed but otherwise it's peak diss track
