production on this is great, both features do really good and fit into the song very well

Some songs are really reminiscent of brockhampton but I dont mind. Production is pretty consistently great and the only tracks I felt were a little weak were slow down and eastside w my dogs. Overall really enjoyable and can't wait to hear more from them.

Fav track: emptyy

Least fav: slow down

Production on this is so lush and vibrant. Some of his best writing yet too, Timezones is easily his best song imo.

MF DOOM - MM..FOOD [20th Anniversary Edition]
NR

Actually don't hate the remixes
(particularly the Jake One & Madlib ones) & the interview content is pretty cool

Lupe Fiasco - Samurai

Lupe delivered as expected, the instrumentals are great, they're oddly atmospheric while maintaining a boom bap / jazz rap sound. I'm sure there's a lot of things I didn't catch on this record yet lyrically that I'll probably find on my later listens.

Quadeca - I Didn't Mean to Haunt You

Let me start this review off by saying that is album is integral to me. Hearing this changed the way I view music permanently and completely shifted my music taste. I don't think I'd have as much of a passion for music as I do right now if I hadn't heard this album.

On SZissou's review of Rich Brian - WHERE IS MY HEAD?
"@SZissou I mean the concept of the song is about his early life and how the people he talked to molded him into the person he is and ultimately allowed him to become successful. If the entire purpose of the track was to be like "ha now look at me" to this girl he dated ten years ago then I feel like the message he gives at the end would be completely different, and he wouldn't emphasize how equally important his brother and his online friends were to his development and life at that time. I guess it could be seen that way but I don't think that's what he intended"
On SZissou's review of Rich Brian - WHERE IS MY HEAD?
"@SZissou I know I'm not the guy you asked but imo, the production and storytelling reminds me a little bit of PROM/KING by Saba which I personally adore as a song so that automatically reeled me in. But I also didn't really interpret it as "getting back at her" or whatever, especially since he says that he's not angry and that the experience essentially got him out his comfort zone. He's really just rapping about his childhood experience being homeschooled and how each one of these people shaped his life (like how his first friend introduced him to Hip-Hop which literally changed his life entirely due to it becoming his career)"
