this is not too bad but damn this cover makes me not wanna rate it this high π its really hard at times though with a combination of super distorted 808s and wavvy and cloudy trap beats and stunnys monotone vocals and flows which are super addictive, some rage, jerk and tread influences here which are super cool, its super in your face and really noisy at points which i love, his vocal inflections on some tracks get super annoying and the last 3 tracks are genuinely so ass but hes mainly ... read more
this is genuinely generational dark plugg, one of my favourite releases ever from the genre, the prod is so fun, vibrant and upbeat, such great vibes and i love the 8 bit usage and the retro video game aesthetic that it goes for, some of this is genuinely reminiscent of donkey kong 64 and its so coo, hes honestly one of my favourite dark plugg rappers ever with his flows being so fast paced and super hard and i love his vocals he has such an amazing presence, needed this to be longer but its ... read more
my favourite yuke project, its got this indescribable vibe that really resonates with me personally, the amateurish and raw feel of the project gives off such a genuine and nostalgic vibe, heaps of diversity in the prod and most of these beats are incredible, a lot of dark and terror plugg tracks which are mostly awesome and i love the contrast between yukes vocals and the really noisy production, the edm and trap tracks are also worth a shoutout as i love how immersive and drugged out the ... read more
one of the most forgettable projects of the year genuinely i forgot this released days after it did, theres some really cool edm rage inspired prod with 'money dance' and 'hndrxx' containing such cool beats but this dude genuinely is so boring here with his deadpan vocals and predictable ass flows making every track a slog to get through, hes super inspired and just so low on energy it pains me, 'diditagain' summarises this album as that beat is genuinely ... read more
even better than his other album, this is way better than i thought it would be, the first half is generational w basically no misses and banger after banger but the second half is super inconsistent but there are some great tracks buried in there, the prod has heaps of diversity with bubbly plugg beats, bassy hard ass rage tracks and more melodic trap tracks, genuinely generational production with great combinations of digicore and rage elements, great contrast of melodic and aggressive vibes, ... read more
one of his best easily and while it isnt my personal favourite summrs project its still amazing and def a classic, he was in his prime here, super raw mixing and a pretty amateurish sound but it works so well - feels super personal and genuine, the prod continues the vibe from the first bellworld but its a bit softer, lots of loud 808s combined with super soft bells and pianos, super cloudy and ethereal soundscapes, summrs is one of my favourite vocalists ever and his uses of autotune is some ... read more
pretty good and a lot different from his other music released in 2018 which is cool, super amateurish production and mixing with super loud 808s that take up most of the volume, super cloudy and wavvy plugg beats that are a lot more upbeat and aggressive than a lot of his music, summrs is amazing as usual and his melodies are still this good so early on in his career, 'let up' and 'cant let u go' are genuinely incredible though so check those out and while most of this is ... read more
this is amazing, this project starts off kinda eh with 'cant be' which is by far the worst track here with a way too simple beat but every other track here is basically amazing, the plugg production is so catchy and allows faygos melodies to really shine, kinda of a mix between pluggnb and rage with super fast paced 808s and hi hats and really melodic synths its a cool contrast, faygo is amazing as usual providing heaps of diversity and just having consistently amazing vocals, his ... read more
kinda better than any of the vultures albums ig but i dont think this is particularly great or anything its still garbage, i wouldnt be surprised if this genuinely was completely ai, the industrial prod at the beginning is so generic but at least its more ambitious than the stuff hes been making, the chipmunk soul and christian stuff here is fkn garbage it feels like a cash grab to appeal to the fans who have been begging him to go back to that style, its so generic, kanye is such a garbage ... read more
this is slightly better than vultures 2 but its still garbage im ngl, paint drying levels of boring im ngl, ranges between boring ass R&B tracks to generic stadium anthems ('carnival' is one of the worst songs oat), its all so generic and stale coming from one of the 'artists of our generation' (not even top 1000 rappers oat btw), and the lyrics here are mostly garbage - seriously hard to ignore some of the dumbass shit hes saying on here, 'fuk sumn' is kinda ... read more
this is completely dogshit, the mixing is shit, the prod is super generic trap with some of the most soulless ideas ive ever heard and kanye and ty give awful performance after awful performance, this has basically 0 redeeming features and i hated basically every track here (field trip is good ig) ai slop made by the most overrated rapper oat.
one of my favourite projects oat and probably my favourite faygo project asw, the production is a lot more upbeat, bright and energetic with these trap beats being so catchy and bouncy, only good thing tecca has done in his career is producing this masterpiece, he does so well and his style perfectly suits faygo here, his flows are so fast paced and his melodies are some of the best oat, super angelic and beautiful stuff - his voice was built for singing, his rapping here is also super good and ... read more
this is extremely nostalgic for me, pretty inconsistent but the highlights are genuinely perfect and this is super ahead of its time, super cloudy with super colourful synths that create these amazing spacey trap soundscapes, some of the production is incredibly ahead of its time - some prototype rage stuff with heavy distortion, super raw mixing (or lack of mixing on some tracks), extremely catchy melodies and i love how he experiments with his vocal pitch a lot, fauni's flows are amazing ... read more
this is actually so hard, one of his best ep's honestly, the aggressive hard hitting tracks are some of my personal favourites from him and i love how he uses vocal inflections, he has some really good flows here and provides such good energy,'peewee roscoe' is kinda boring im ngl - it feels like a generic nine track but the rest of this is fantastic.
i love this album sm, its a lot more upbeat with these druggy, energetic plugg soundscapes, they genuinely go so hard and its cool to see lucki rapping on more energetic and booming plugg and trap prod, the 808s on here genuinely go insane, his flows on here are masterful with the deadpan delivery and his amazing vocals and flows being some of the best in his career at times ('speed demon'), i genuinely think this is better than the first freewave with a more consistent tracklist and ... read more
super nostalgic to me now im ngl, classic ep with generational rapping from lucki and a mix between these ethereal and cloudy trap beats to plugg to memphis rap (cool triple six samples), his energy is super good here and i love how constant his flows are, reminds me of being a teenager a lot and even though its not the most consistent lucki project it still has a special place in my heart, the carti collab is really cool also.
this is pretty cool but it couldve been way better, there are some generational faygo tracks here and his vocals are mostly angelic and his flows are super unique and catchy, the production is at times super addictive, bouncy and a cool showcase of early rage, some beats are boring though and faygos vocals and melodies are a little standard on some tracks, the trap sound isnt done to its full potential, its still pretty good but some tracks ruin the momentum of the project.
this isnt bad at all its just really inconsistent and pretty generic at times, i like the direction he went on with these R&B melodies combined with slower trap production, faygos vocals are genuinely so beautiful for the most part but on some tracks he has super low energy and is pretty boring, some of these tracks are painfully generic at times and the features here all suck here im ngl (excluding uzi), still though the R&B sound really does suit him and when it works the tracks are ... read more
this is really good but it couldve been even better, rex is a really good rapper with super fast paced flows and some amazing melodic vocals, he is very inspired by closed captions che with his flows and vocals occasionally but it doesnt bother me since this is a pretty different style production wise, mix of more melodic trap beats and hard rage tracks with 'batman' going so hard, most of this is super good, some tracks are pretty boring (didnt really like the digicore track) and ... read more
this deadass the only cartier project my friend likes but fairs cause its amazing, some of the ppl who rated this red for sure say they like trap when they actually only like trap when its mainstream, these trap beats are genuinely sooo good, just super bouncy and wavvy, rough around the edges and infectious, he uses awesome synths to create such different vibes while keeping all these tracks pretty tonally consistent, cartier's performances combined with the trap prod can take a bit of ... read more
