I have been a huge fan of this album since shortly after its release in 1990 and it remains one of my "desert island discs" to this day. Phenomenal songwriting, playing and production throughout. Kevin Gilbert was an amazing songwriter and performer, and he had a stellar group of musicians behind him on this album. I wish he had lived beyond his one solo album that was released after this.
Good album for it's era and genre with a mix of hard rock, folk and progressive rock. Nice instrumentation, songwriting and production.
15+ minute EP, a fun listen. Line reminded me of a frenetic punk version of 80's King Crimson, cool punk prog mashup. Plateau had a cool groove. No Hooks was another prog punk vibe, kinda cool. Collectable Action Figures was a little predictable but good.
Decent British Blues Invasion era album, with good Hammond organ and synth work from MM. I think the first half of the album stands up pretty well.
Really cool mood album, chill and relaxing. Has a dreamy hypnotic quality to the music.
