sounds a little better than ttpd, but the writing is terrible
i love the halloween vibe she's serving up here
90>95>100
listening to this song reminds me of amadeus (1984), so that's the main reason i enjoy it
my god, this was so beautiful. i fucking love her use of ambience throughout the album
one of my favourite slowcore/ambient albums of all time. i listen to this album when i need to be comforted, when i need to cry or dissociate, do homework, sleep, or just want to listen to something less stimulating but still extremely beautiful and emotional. and i fucking love the use of texture in this album, it just scratches my brain in the best way
MY GOD.
edit: on first listen, i immediately noticed how poignant and heavy the atmosphere in this song is; it reminds me of where i live, forests and the prarie, and it conjures so many memories and nostalgia. i could not be more excited for the album release❤️
saw this recommended on the ethel cain subreddit by someone who enjoyed perverts and i really really loved this. i've heard ritual before but wasn't as used to the genre/had a different taste back then, so i didn't listen again. i'll need to relisten a couple times before rating but imo this is definitely underrated
