hit or miss, tracks 4-6 are a great run though and will be basing most of my score on them alone

Had high hopes after the singles but this ultimately wasn't my cup of tea, maybe it will grow on me but happy for the folks who enjoy this. Looking forward to future work from Picton for sure though.

I wish I could engage with this "album" in whatever post-ironic, outsider art, anti-singer/songwriter headspace that it was meant to occupy - but unfortunately the joke stops being funny after a few seconds. What's really cool about this project is that it is so shitty and a failure on so many levels that it becomes an objective benchmark for music that is truly devoid of any substance or soul.

Horsegirl carries on the time-honored tradition of cool bands referencing Young Marble Giants.
