If Imagine Dragons were actually fire. The film was f-ing phenomenal, the tracks are dope. It's safe while still being edgy, coworker metal meets genre bending. Best song in my opinion was "Kill Your Conscience", because it's very poingent in its criticism of modern society. Lyrically, this album hits home. Sonically, dope as hell. Everything is dialed in super well, and the songs are insanely catchy. What's not to love?
Dude I'm sorry, but if you don't at least appreciate this album, there's either something wrong with you or not nearly enough wrong with you. This album is so dark and immersive and has a sound that draws you into a story both all too familiar and one so far out of reach. It demonstrates the feeling of helplessness when you have lost all faith in your supports and what small things might set this downward spiral into motion, and how they might not be so small after all. I love Bad Omens to death, but this album was a bit too hyped for its own good. I was never a huge fan of the first single V.A.N feat. That all being said, this was to be the next full thing from Bad Omens and it kinda fell ... read more
Phenomenal album, massively underrated. Is anyone else getting the concept album plot of like a prequel to POST HUMAN or is that just me? I love the use of the dark cult imagery tied in with the overarching themes of love and emotional turmoil. Artfully done and all those ripping on it need to step off. This isn't an album for you purebred rock/metal fans and it's not an album for a purebred pop fan. It only works if you understand the healthy balance and how that culminates into ... read more
Boy oh boy do none of you get it. I'm gonna break this album down REEEAAAL simple for you. When everyone bitches about the left and bitches about the right, you get people who want none of the polarization of the political spectrum, myself included (despite the fact that I am very liberal). This is a great album with catchy songs and meaningful messages that you all are shitting on because you can't see what's beyond your noses. Cancel culture does suck, I'm sorry to say, ... read more
