Super great vibes with this one. Although I didn't enjoy it quite as much as NO HANDS, this scratches all the same itches, and the more low-key moments are nice too. It kinda falls off a bit towards the end, but not by much.
My top three tracks are HYPERYOUTH, WASSUP, and BUST DOWN.
My least favorite track is THE PARTY SONG.
This is a neat direction in terms of sound, I've never heard K-Pop that sounds like this before, but overall I wasn't impressed. Production from Mike Will Made It and JPEGMAFIA is really cool, and I really did like a lot of the production here, but most of the songs are just kinda boring. Some of the lyrics are pretty awful, too. Some songs were alright on a first listen, but there's nothing I would come back to.
My top three songs are Body To Body, Merry Go Round, and One More ... read more
Such intense emotion in such a quiet soundscape. I really appreciated the symbolism used throughout the album. Some tracks I didn't love, but the high points are astronomical. It really feels like Frank hurt every time he went into the studio for this one, and to be honest I'm not surprised he hasn't dropped an album since this one. Quit while you're ahead, and also give yourself some space, I guess.
My top three tracks are Pink + White, Pretty Sweet, and Nights (Honorable ... read more
Rocky dropping after 8 years to give us the album of all time 🥶
I wasn't a fan of this one. This album isn't bad, it's kinda just not my vibe. There were some standout tracks for me, but in general it's not really for me.
My favorite tracks are PUNK ROCKY, DON'T BE DUMB / TRIP BABY, and THE END.
My least favorite track is STOP SNITCHING.
This is the first album I decided to listen to in 2026, and the irony of the fact that the album is called "Let's Start Here." is not lost on me.
Oh man, what a wild ride. I remember all the buzz this record created when it released, and how shocked everyone was to hear an album like this come from Lil Yachty. Yachty always fell into that trap slop hole for me, and seeing the reception of this one was surprising. I never got around to it until now since I was still exploring rap ... read more
Fun project with fun features. Danny thrives in this genre, and I hope he can use this album as a stepping stone to leap into some really great music in the future. That being said, this album is pretty hit or miss for me, especially with the production. I don't hate or even dislike any of the songs here, but there are more than a few that I think are mid or just okay. I noticed that the songs tend to run long. I think I would've enjoyed the project more if some of the tracks were ... read more
After Geese's previous album 3D Country grew on me more than I could've ever imagined, I've been excited for this album's release ever since it was announced, and holy did it not disappoint. I was floored by basically every song. This was a magical listen in every sense of the word. This honestly made my whole week.
My top three tracks are Taxes, Getting Killed, and Long Island City Here I Come.
My least favorite track is Trinidad.
Thankfully, I didn't have another situation with this album as I did with "Clancy." On my first listen of "Clancy," I went in expecting to have mixed feelings, and I came out almost hating the album. It took me nearly a year to come back around to it, and I like it quite a bit now. I went into this one with no expectations, and I like it off rip.

...Yeah, Quad did.
This is one of my favorite albums of all time. I said that for I Didn't Mean To Haunt You, but like I REALLY mean it for this project. This is even better.
I don't have a top three or a least favorite track.
For what is essentially a compilation mixtape, Quadeca really knocks it out of the park here with what feels like a project that is absolutely intentional. Maybe that is the case, and Ben really did plan everything out when he started releasing these songs in 2023. Each song here feels connected. For a project that was released as singles over a year's time, that is insanely impressive. I really love the overall vibe of the mixtape. The production, at it was with I Didn't Mean To ... read more
So I had this idea for an album from the perspective of a ghost, check this out!
This is the most bone-chilling concept album I've ever heard. I guess that's fitting. I've heard so much about this album, and I'm kicking myself for not listening to this earlier. I've known about Quadeca for so long as well, I really can't believe it took me this long to hear this. It's just... perfect. Perfect execution. Perfect production. Perfect performances. A quirked up ... read more
This is everything it needs to be, given the subject matter. I thought the album felt longer than it actually is, but I didn't really mind that. Actually, I think it enhanced my listening experience.
It's good and horrifyingly meaningful. I don't need to say anything else.
My top three tracks are King of Carrot Flowers Pts. 2 & 3, In the Aeroplane Over the Sea, and [untitled].
My least favorite track is Communist Daughter.
Less than a year after the release of CHROMAKOPIA, which is his best work in my opinion, Tyler, The Creator drops a short but sweet project that sounds literally nothing like it. Tyler just got active working with Clipse on their song "P.O.V.," dropping one of if not his best feature verse ever, and just a week later we get a surprise album???
10 fun, feel-good tracks, none over three and a half minutes in length. Some bangers to move to for the summer. After CHROMAKOPIA, what else ... read more
This record is HOT. Push and Mal put blood, sweat, and tears into this, the drops hit the music and turned to steam. The dark, sinister production compliments everything Clipse and the featured artists say on this project. There is so much to dive into here, with Kendrick Lamar's killer verse on "Chains & Whips," Tyler, The Creator's CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST-esque braggadocious tone on "P.O.V.," the scathing diss against Travis Scott on "So Be It," and ... read more
After Nas dropped his debut album, Illmatic, he went on a run that left many fans disappointed, which only worsened when Jay-Z dropped a nuke of a diss track on him in his album The Blueprint. Nas hopped back in the studio, and delivered this project, showing the world that even if he couldn't recreate Illmatic, there's no doubt that he's still got it.
Right out the gate, just after the intro, Nas fires back on Jay-Z with "Ether," one of the hardest disses ever ... read more
This was not what I was expecting, given this album's reputation, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Frank's voice is stunning, and he does such a good job at conveying emotion. I can't imagine how much of a shock it was for Odd Future fans to see Frank do this after everything he did with the group. This was very easy to listen to, which is impressive for a basically hour long project. Good stuff.
My top three tracks are Pyramids, Crack Rock, and Super Rich Kids.

This is my first foray into Earl Sweatshirt, outside of a couple features.
The album's name describes it well. The sounds and flows are very down-to-Earth. Earl does not care to flaunt wealth or status in this record, even less so than other introspective rappers like Kendrick Lamar or Earl's friend and former rap partner, Tyler, the Creator. The record establishes a strong connection between Earl and the listener. It makes you feel like Earl is putting on a live show, and ... read more

This album has grown on me SO much since I first listened to it. Over the last month especially, I've sat down with this project and really dissected it from a music theory and songwriting standpoint, and I am so glad I did, because on my first listen I missed out on so many little details and super musically interesting things that have all blown me away. The artistry here runs so deep throughout every note, every accent, every chord progression, and each of the band ... read more
oh boy oh gee i sure do like music!!!!!!!!
My top three tracks are no worries if not, Full Body 2 flip, and No Dreams Smoke Tip.
