JULY RECOMMENDATIONS #13: @VannilyIki
This is such a strange and interesting album, and i wish i liked it more. Some songs really feel unique, either be their instrumentals or being the vocalist himself doing some wacky shit.
The instrumentals are really jazzy and strange at the same time, and i havent really seen something like this. Its the best thing about this album. Sadly, same cant be said for the vocals, which can be REALLY annoying at times, and leave me quite uninterested in the lyrics.
Best track: either Bus to Beelzebub or Janine
Worst track: Screenwriters blues

I just think Mike Doughtys vocals are very laid back, which is pretty comforting to me. His nasal tone is annoying on bad days for me, which is the only reason I have this at a 75 and not an 80+.
