BE. A. BUZZKILL. FOREVER!!!!!

high note - Now for the first ever song right out of the deluxe, Lyn somberly starts to bring in the acoustics and the rawness right out of gate. In the end of the original story that BUZZKILL holds, Lyn definitely does have quite the sincerity and the charm to also back things up, especially when it comes right in the chorus where she brings up the interest proportional to the rate. Now, comparing this to the original BUZZKILL songs here, it's pretty much more of a refined caliber than some of the others, with some really nice exclusive additions like the samples, the jazz, the atmosphere it kind of builds. You have it all with this project. 9/10.

white flag - Reminds me a bit on her Holiday song, I forgot which one it is, but it does definitely give out that kind of essence. "white flag" really shows and tells more about Lyn, and her sort of struggles that continue to reign in the story of BUZZKILL. I really enjoyed that kind of vulnerability she shows and hold, the acoustics as well as her genuine regret in her voice makes it much more of a crushing song than I would have honestly hoped. The atmosphere that she builds with at the very end is definitely the best part out of the whole song, and would dare to say, the whole album. 10/10.

settle - Now, I may have listened to it a bit from her Instagram bio links, but honestly, once I get a gander to listen to it again, there definitely is something special about it, but not to the extent of it being extremely and surprisingly, wonderfully good. Her lyricism she builds out of it makes Lyn a much more of a honest individual, and making her start to have that maturity right in the penultimate track for the overarching finale for this whole BUZZKILL storyline. The length for this point of the album could be plentier, but I don't mind. It was still very good. 8-9/10.

you - She sure did save the best for last. Kind of like "to love in the 21st century: the epilogue's" "could've been you", but definitely for this album. She definitely has that funky essence and aesthetic right in there, as well as that, providing much more needed soul right in the ending for this album, almost kind of a realization and a sign of maturity coming off from the other songs off this project. The chorus definitely does show that liberating feeling coming from Lyn, and she really makes the most out of that feeling here. It's a great conclusion to this album's era. 9-10/10.

Closing Remarks: Her debut sees the end of its era as Lyn's maturity as an artist and a lover grows evident.

Favorites: white flag, you
Least Favorites: high note, settle
Overall: 93/100!
